How does it work?

1. Call, email or text to book in a service and provide your address details.

2. Leave your clothes with hangers out in a safe location in a basket, bag or hanging on the nominated pick up day.

3. You will receive a text the day before your clothes are returned. 

4. Clothes are returned fresh and crease free.

How much does it cost?

​

Ironing is charged on a package basis with additional items priced separately. This allows us to provide our great service to you, at a cost effective rate. This also means the pace the ironer works at, does not affect how much you are charged. It also allows correct attention to be given to each item to guarantee quality.

Popular items are priced per below:

​

Any 15 Items Ironed = $71.50 + GST

- Any 15 items of your choosing, to be ironed. Delivery and pick up included.

Business Package = $71.50 + GST

- Any 10 items of your choosing, to be wash, dried and ironed. Delivery and pick up included.

Based on your service booking, we recommend following the specifics to your package, to get the best value for money.

Not to worry if you live in a suburb that is not listed, you might still be able to get our service give us a call to check availability. Please note that we are currently unable to service suburbs north of Paddington.

What payment methods do you accept?

​

You can make payment with credit card, or bank transfer.

​

What days do you pick up?

​

Pick up and delivery is available for regular services operate as per below:

​

• Regular up is on a Monday with a Thursday return. 

• Evening collections for those who need to be home are once a fortnight.

Subject to availability faster turn around can be arranged, please enquire for details.

Can you do a 24hr or same day turn around?

​

Yes, Your Friendly Ironing Lady endeavours to fit in with your schedule and provide service in the most timely fashion. This service is subject to availability so please make an enquiry to check capacity for a fast turn around!

Do you use sprays on clothes?

​

Ordinarily sprays are not used on clothes and will only be used on customer request. Currently this is provided at no extra charge. 

​

Are you environmentally friendly?

 

Your Friendly Ironing Lady takes steps to be as environmentally friendly as possible. We do not use plastic bags on clothes and kindly request you provide hangers for reuse. Steam irons are used on most efficient setting to reduce amount of water used.

Are you a registered business?

​

Yes, if your ironing is tax deductible we can provide you with an invoice.
